ISU Surplus (formerly Asset Recovery) is designed to first redistribute university assets to other departments, state funded entities or tax supported organizations throughout the State of Iowa. After those avenues of disposal have been explored, all remaining materials are made available for sale to the general public. Items are sold either through the warehouse or through bids.

Tuesday, November 15th will be our last Intramural sale of the year.
Wednesday, November 16th will be our last Public sale of the year
We will be holding a move-out auction on Wednesday, November 30th. Doors will open at 3:00pm for previews and the auction will start at 5:00pm.

Our new location will be in the Central Receiving Facility at 925 Airport Road starting the first week of January.
- Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 we will resume our Intramural Sales with normal hours (10:00am - 12:00pm)
- Wednesday, January 4th, 2017 we will resume our Public sales with extended hours (9:00am - 3:00pm)

*Tuesday sales or transfers are designed to give departments and state funded entities first option at acquiring surplus materials for their departments. These sales are for departmental or state use only and nothing can be purchased for personal use.
